A Prestigious Award for our Curriculum

October 21, 2016

Ed and Sher Warren, original founding members of this studio, and founding Bright Artists board members (and mentors to our studio's owner, Hilary Key), have recently accepted a Disney Motif Award! This prestigious award honors the Warrens' work in developing this special program. Thirty years in development, their curriculum specializes in children’s fine art instruction. It serves over 4000 students per week in our studio, other private studios and enrichment classes throughout California and Washington state, and our own non-profit, Bright Artists.

Billed as “The nation’s highest, most prestigious youth advocacy award," the Motif Awards have honored Walt Disney, Charles Schultz, Fred Rogers, and Theodore Geisel, among many other American and international humanitarians and children’s advocates. We are so proud to use curriculum so time-tested and true; and now, recognized on the world stage!
